Sugar House Trip

We had a fun time going to the sugar house in Johnson, Vermont! We interviewed one of the sugar-makers, Deb. We found out that she taps at least 500 trees each year. They sell their maple syrup to friends and family from their sugar house. They don't advertise, but they make a good living doing this each spring.

Did you know?
1. You need to cut wood all year round.
2. It takes 86 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup.

Happy Sugaring!
